Hi. I’m Merma Jan
In 2001 I met the man of my dreams… okay the “Pirate of my Dreams” Glen Gale Atkinson. We fell in love and joined families in marriage in 2002 as “The Pirate & Mermaid”
As an Interior Designer by trade and Mermaid in my heart my hubby worked on the Waterfront but is an Artist, Photographer and AI Artist.
We collaborate on many projects and you can find some of them here.
I am a lover of the sea..
I can’t get enough of Ocean sunsets, shell shopping, snorkeling and swimming with my Mahina Mermaid fin in the warm, calm and clear blue skies and oceans with friendly creatures above and below the Maui Sea!
We live in Metro Vancouver, BC and love all things coastal as seen in our Art and home design and decor (I am an Interior Designer after all lol!)
And from that moment on…
I value artists and artisans that create beautiful products. I own several FIN FUN Mermaid tails that I absolutely love. Sometime soon I want to get a Mermaid tail from Courtney “Vancouver Mermaid” her designs are AMAZING!
